Terms of Service
These terms
These terms apply to every service you order from StealthRDP: Windows and Linux VPS and RDP servers, and Citadel Layer 7 protection. By creating an account, placing an order or using a service, you accept them together with the rules they refer to: Use of service, Payment terms, the Refund policy, User responsibilities, Termination of service and the Privacy policy.
Orders, invoices, billing and support tickets are handled in the client area at dash.stealthrdp.com.
The services
Each server is a virtual machine in Phoenix, Arizona (USA plans) or Amsterdam, Netherlands (EU plans) with the resources of the plan you order, NVMe storage, a dedicated IPv4 address and full Administrator access on Windows or root access on Linux.
Most servers are live within 60 seconds of payment confirmation; at busy times it can take a few minutes. There is no service level agreement: measured uptime is published on the status page.
We keep weekly backups for disaster recovery. They are not a backup service for your data, and we may not be able to restore files, for example after a hardware fault. Keep your own backups of anything important.
Orders and payment
Every billing period is paid in full up front: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual or biannual (2 years). Prices are in EUR. We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and selected cryptocurrencies; wire transfer and purchase orders are possible for enterprise customers.
A service that is not paid on time may be suspended or terminated. Cryptocurrency payments are confirmed after the network confirmations the currency requires, and you are responsible for transaction fees and for sending the correct amount. The full rules are in the Payment terms.
Refunds
A new service can be refunded within 7 days of payment, once per service, to the payment method you used. After 7 days, payments are non-refundable. The details are in the Refund policy.
Acceptable use
Use the services for lawful purposes only, and respect copyright and data-protection law. Not allowed, among other things:
- spam, or anything that leads to a Spamhaus listing;
- phishing, scam or impersonation sites, carding and other fraud;
- network or port scanning, hacking tools and malicious scripts;
- taking part in or facilitating DDoS or DoS attacks;
- botnets and remote administration tools (RATs);
- child sexual abuse material or similar exploitative content.
A breach leads to immediate suspension without backups and, depending on its severity, to the closure of your account and all its services. The complete rules are in Use of service. To report abuse from one of our servers, see Report abuse.
Your responsibilities
You keep your account credentials secure, use your server lawfully, keep regular backups of your data and keep your contact details up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account and on your server. StealthRDP is not liable for data loss or corruption. See User responsibilities.
Windows licensing
StealthRDP provides the infrastructure only. Microsoft Windows licensing is not included and is not supplied by StealthRDP. Where Windows Server Evaluation is provided, it is evaluation software, not a permanently licensed Windows installation. If you use Windows, you are responsible for any Microsoft licences your use requires. See Windows licensing.
Network and fair use
Bandwidth is unlimited under a fair-usage policy. Every plan has a 250 Mbps network port except Starter USA (100 Mbps); the 250 Mbps plans can be upgraded to 1 Gbps. Use that affects other customers may be throttled, suspended or need an upgrade.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel at any time in the client area; the service runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We may suspend or terminate a service at once for non-payment, a breach of these terms or illegal activity, and we act on abuse complaints. When a service ends, all data on its server is permanently deleted. A second abuse case, or repeated violations, close the account for good. See Termination of service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version, and using the services after a change means you accept it. Questions go to support@stealthrdp.com or a client-area ticket.
