I haven't used the provider since 2013 and I probably won't since I'm extremely happy with the provider, but it's good to know that it's been improved!

So you want 60 GBP for less specs (4G RAM, 100 vs. 200 G HDD) I can get for 8 EUR at the provider, for example? No level of service can make up for that.

the provider is still notably cheaper than it was 2 years ago. I just shut down a 2 year old VPS and made a new one because it was ~20% cheaper than it was two years ago, and I also get more CPU and more RAM

I really don't understand why anyone would want a VPS with 1.4GB RAM for the same price as a 12GB RAM Quad-Core dedicated server. (for example from the provider: - we've been using servers from this provider for 3…

That leap second pinned loads of Linux boxes at 100% CPU. I'm a customer of the provider, they sent out a mail asking the customers to check their machines as their power draw increased by a megawatt in an instant.

the provider is amazingly cheap, but nowhere near as big. the provider is indeed much cheaper. the provider is cheap, but performance varies too. Also, Azure (?)

Makes sense! I've said this before and time and time again, but I LOVE what they're doing over at the provider (a provider incubated). I'm not affiliated by any means, just a very, very very very very happy customer. The performance is unmatched and the price is so competitive!

They the provider! See (which belongs to a provider). The SSD box is terrible value though. I have a the provider for ~6€/month (incl VAT) and while it isn't a particularly fast machine, it fulfils all my server needs. It's also incredibly cheap for a dedicated server.

This is from the same company as the provider -- provider/en/dedicated-server Hosted in France. They're very reliable, and a pretty good competitor to the provider/SoYouStart/a provider. Iliad, the group behind the provider and the provider, also owns Free Mobile and Free Telecom…

Why Vlutr and not something like the provider ( )? I've recently switched from the provider to the provider and would never go back.

I moved from managed the provider to unmanaged the provider (the provider), decreasing the cost significantly and still staying in the provider ecosystem. I use cloud services, cloud services, cloud services and other cheap services, you could consider this path

I'm working in a new startup, and I tried several "easy" solutions: the provider the provider, Heroku, Crunchy. I settled up on the provider ECS :) My main issue with Heroku was that they have not changed anything in _years_. No support for gRPC, no IPv6, and simple VPC peering costs $1200 a month.

A random provider could be a hit-or-miss. I've personally used the provider (found them on the provider/Talk) in the past and can't complain for the price. They have plans under $1/month, and they even provide an IPv4 address: No affiliation…

Been using self hosted mailinabox on a cheap the provider vps for last 4 years. Zero hiccups. The trick is to send an email, have it whitelisted a bunch of times. Then it just works. Once I massmailed by mistake. Google rightly spammed the emails. Had to unspam them and was back…

I have been using the provider for a few non-critical, hobby projects and can't fault them. Their advertised prices are not half of the provider, but you can find hidden deals if you the provider a Google search, or via sites like (no affiliation).

I actually just started using Gitprep and it is extremely lightweight and easy to set up. I threw it on a 128MB the provider account I had and it worked flawlessly. I tried Gitlab first, and while it had more features, it was far more resource intensive (since it was Rails)…

the provider (Netherlands), not exactly "super" cheap, but great hosting for a very fair price. For a reference, even MegaUpload had a lot of servers from them. Want superbe service, you should consider Combell (Belgium).

1. Banks are more reliable than hosting providers. 2. For a small personal site you don't need anything fancy, just make sure you've SFTP'd the files to your disk and snapshotted the DB once every couple months. My personal site is backed up by the provider cloud, but I still the provider…

Not exactly a fair comparison, you'd want to compare similar plans, 2GB the provider VPS and 2GB the provider VPS are both $20/month. Some benchmarks between the two posted at . the provider fast disk i/o than the provider but the provider faster cpu than the provider :)
