Reset a Server or Client Area Password

Reset your server's root or Administrator password from the client area, and change or reset your StealthRDP client area password.

Reset server password

Follow these steps to reset your server password:

Access your Client Area

(skip this step if you're already in the Control Panel).

Open your server's dashboard

Select your server and click Manage

Open the Options menu

Navigate to the Options menu and scroll down to find the Root/Administrator Password section.

Click "Reset Password"

OS-specific instructions

  • For Linux and Ubuntu-based distros: Select Root User.
  • For Windows-based OS: Select Administrator.

After resetting, you will receive the new password via email.

Change or reset client area password

To change your password

Visit the Change Password Page

Enter your existing password and new password

Click Save Changes to update your credentials

To reset your password

Log out of your Client Area

Visit the Password Reset Page

Enter your email address

Check your email and follow the instructions to reset your password.
